Victoria Price brings her unique story to the national and international stage as an inspirational speaker, writer, artist & art consultant, designer, and interspiritual & interfaith minister.
Her new book, This One Brave Life, will be released in February 2017.
Following in her father's footsteps, Victoria has become a popular speaker on inspirational topics ranging from the daily practice of joy, how finding your magic word can change your life, living your legacy of yes, stepping into this one brave life, wildflowering your way back whole, making peace with our past stories to expand our creative futures, the role of the arts in society, as well as the life of her famous father, Vincent Price, and a range of topics on interior & industrial design.
In 2012, Victoria was invited to be a TedX speaker, giving the talk, Tell Me What Do You Have in the House. Over the past fifteen years, Victoria has spoken around the world to audiences, who have enjoyed her ease, erudition, and inspiration in sharing her enthusiasm for living a joy-filled life
Victoria's popular blog, Daily Practice of Joy, chronicles the journey back to joy which began in 2011 -- the year in which the world celebrated the 100th birthday of her father, Vincent Price, with Vincentennial celebrations around the globe.
In 2016, after living in Santa Fe, New Mexico, for a quarter century, Victoria embarked on an ongoing journey of intentional homelessness. She captures images of her adventures on the road on her website, This One Brave Life. She is also active on social media -- on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and Pinterest -- as @onebravelife.
Growing up in Hollywood as the daughter of actor and art collector Vincent Price and designer Mary Grant Price, Victoria took inspiration from her parents in developing a successful career in interior design. Melding her vibrant contemporary design aesthetics with her extensive knowledge of the visual arts Victoria seamlessly blends modern and historic, regional and international, ethnographic and urban styles to create unique living and working environments throughout the United States..
Victoria works with her clients to help them realize their design visions by using what she believes is the most essential design skill–listening. Victoria’s goal is never to impose her own aesthetic on her clients, but to listen to their stories, their needs, their likes and dislikes, as together Victoria and her clients create spaces that reflect her clients’ lives. Victoria’s longstanding working relationships with international design manufacturers; artists and art galleries; as well as with the finest national, regional and local craftspeople allow her to realize her clients’ visions of homes.
Her critically acclaimed biography of her father, Vincent Price: A Daughter’s Biography, was published in 1999 by St Martin’s Press. She has also written for the New York Times, A&E’s Biography, and many other national, regional, and local magazines, newspapers, and television programs. Price has also appeared on Good Morning America, A&E’s Biography, NPR’s Fresh Air and Morning Edition, BBC Radio Three, and many other national, regional, and local TV and radio programs. Articles about Price and her work have appeared in such national and international publications as the New York Times, USA Today, People, Travel & Leisure, Art & Auction, and Sunset.
She has taught at the University of New Mexico, New Mexico Highlands University, and the Philos School–an alternative arts-and-humanities school in Santa Fe that she helped to found. Price earned a bachelor’s degree in art history and theatre from Williams College, which has one of the most prestigious art history programs in the country. And she has completed the doctoral program in American Studies at the University of New Mexico. Price also serves on museum boards in New Mexico and California.
At the end of the day, the reason I have lived my father's legacy forward is because I was and still am a Daddy's Girl.

This was my very first art piece at an art exhibition. Since then, I have been on the other side of the canvas -- an art historian, and a gallerist. But I will be having my first art show in Spring 2017, and soon I will have some of my photographs available for sale on this site. Until then, you can see my work at www.onebravelife.com
